Fitting in Exercise

Time is limited. In addition to working a full time job, I carpool with my fiance. I love carpooling. I have great alone time with Sam to catch up on life and we conserve by sharing a ride. It has it's downsides too though. I can't jump in the car and run the gym for a lunchtime workout. I also generally spend at least 10 hours at the office each day.

I am lucky to work at a company that I think has the best culture on the planet! We have groups of like minded folks that share passions. One of the groups focuses on fitness. Our fitness group has offered a challenge: 100 miles in 100 days and to track it we have pedometers.

My plan is to take advantage of the great opportunities at work while putting my steps on the pedometer. My ultimate goal is 10,000 steps a day. I'll get there in a few weeks.

I've used pedometers before, but it excites me more to have a great group of people to share this experience with.
